It is suitable for metal glass paper wood plastic fabric leather ceramic stone and more.RAF Blue-Grey Story On its founding in 1918 the Royal Air Force needed new uniforms and turned to the famous British textile firm AW Hainsworth. Hainsworth duly presented a grey-blue woollen cloth originally intended for the Tsar’s Cossacks. Due to unrest in Russia the cloth couldn’t be delivered and the newly formed RAF welcomed the surplus fabric and adopted the colour for its official uniform.
