About Us
PPJ Miniatures was founded in April 2023 by Peter and Paula, united by a shared passion for quality miniatures and dolls house craftsmanship. Although Peter sadly passed away in July 2025 after a short illness, his technical expertise and enthusiasm for the hobby continue to influence everything we do.

Our Story
Peter spent over 30 years as an electro-mechanical engineer and electrical retailer, bringing invaluable knowledge to the miniature electrics side of the business. Paula began making dolls houses over 20 years ago after taking early retirement following cancer treatment. Her love of creating, attending trade shows, and helping new hobbyists inspired the couple to start sourcing better materials, particularly wiring, lamps, and tools that were hard to find at the time.

Recognizing a wider need for quality supplies, they created PPJ Miniatures to offer reliable products, helpful advice, and Paula’s own handmade pieces.

Today, Paula continues to run the business with the same dedication she and Peter shared.

As requests grew for posted items, launching our online shop was the natural next step. We’re proud to now serve miniature enthusiasts across the UK with convenient access to high-quality, dependable supplies.
