Our Story

Founded in April 2023 by Peter and Paula, PPJMiniatures was born out of a deeply shared love for the craft. Paula’s journey began over 20 years ago when she turned to dolls house making during early retirement. Frustrated by how difficult it was to source reliable wiring, lamps, and fine tools, Peter and Paula decided to source better materials themselves. Recognising that fellow hobbyists faced the exact same challenges, they created PPJMiniatures to offer a trusted alternative: high-quality components paired with expert, practical advice. [1, 2]

Though Peter sadly passed away in July 2025, his technical expertise, enthusiasm, and attention to detail remain at the absolute heart of everything we do today. Paula proudly continues to run the business with the same dedication and vision they always shared.
